Founding Attorney, Stephen Spano, is one of only three Massachusetts attorney members of the prestigious National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys’ Council of Advanced Practitioners. He and Attorney Andrea Witt are two of only 29 Massachusetts attorneys to be Board-Certified as an elder law attorney (CELA) by the National Elder Law Foundation.

Our legal and financial team is composed of attorneys Stephen Spano, Francine Dawicki, Andrea Witt and Christine Hurley, along with a diverse expert staff. Bringing diverse backgrounds and a focus on compassionate legal advocacy, we work collaboratively to best protect the rights and interests of our clients. We combine the talents of a very dedicated and experienced staff, including paralegals, legal assistants, and life care experts, and other support staff to ease your stress and expeditiously resolve whatever issues you and your family may be facing.

Our attorneys are members of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Life Care Planning Law Firms Association, and are certified by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to help veterans applying for benefits. Our team of professionals works extensively with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and its courts for probate, guardianship, conservatorship, MassHealth applications, estate planning and administration, and trust matters. Our legal and financial team develops comprehensive Medicaid (MassHealth) strategies, and helps you shelter assets, obtain the best possible care for your loved one and draft winning (MassHealth) applications that are approved. If not, we represent you at the Fair Hearing (appeal) to demonstrate why your loved one should be approved.

Service

We are committed to serving our Massachusetts and New Hampshire communities and offer free consultations at the Salem, Saugus, Winchester, and Woburn Councils on Aging to provide guidance to those who may be unable to afford an attorney.
